It was midnight when all the family went to bed after watching TV. There was no light and it was dark. Three hours later, a thief entered the house, and went into the kitchen to look for something to eat. When he was walking quietly, his hands touched a basket. He put his hand in it to find something to eat. A dog that was sleeping in the basket caught the thief’s hand. The thief tried to keep quiet and get his hand away, but the dog held on until the thief was forced to cry out of pain. This awoke the people in the house. They took the thief to the police station.

Blue whales live in the sea, but they come to the surface every 15 minutes to breathe. When a whale breathes, it blows water high into the air. Whales provide meat and oil, so some people want to hunt them.
