Introduction:

Nowadays we live in the age of technology. Technology plays important roles in developing our life. Computer is considered one example of new technologies. It is used in many fields and for different purposes. In this report, I am going to talk about three main things about computer such as: the definition of computer, advantages and disadvantages of computer.

Definition of Computer:

Computer is "an electronic machine that can store and arrange information, make calculation and control other machinery"(Oxford word power, 2022). So it helps us in doing many things like storing, modifying information and in calculating.

Advantages of computer:

There are many advantages of computer like:
1. Computer saves our time. For example, there are many useful programs in computer such as Excel. This program helps us in doing calculation quickly and without errors.
2. Computer has a great storage, so that people can put a lot of information in very little space.
3. Computer gives us much information. For instance, it has program that called Internet. Internet helps us to find information that we want. Also, it helps us to communicate with other people by sending e mails.

Disadvantages of computer:

Although the computer has many advantages, it can be harmful for many reasons as following:
1. Computer is bad for teenagers. They spend many hours in playing games and chatting instead of studying. In addition, the interaction between the families and their children become smaller and that because the internet.
2. Computer can be damaged because of viruses. There are many types of viruses that are dangerous. They can stop the work of computer, so our work will be lost.
3. Computer is bad for our health. It effects on our eyes. It send rays and they are too harmful.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, computer is a useful machine, but we have to be aware about it because it has many disadvantages. Finally, I advise people specially teenagers to organize their time during using computer to avoid health problems. Moreover, I advise parents to supervise and choose useful websites for their children.

United Arab Emirates
UAE is a very beautiful and wonderful country. It is one of the gulf countries which lie in Middle East. It consists of seven Emirates which are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Al Fujairah, Ra’s al Khaimah, Ash Sharijah, and Umm al Quwain. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE. The UAE country lies between 22 and 26 latitude and between 51 and 56 longitude. The area of the UAE is 83000 sq km. it lies on the Arabia on Gulf and Oman Gulf. The important landscape in the UAE is the desert. It form 75% from the area.

The United Arab Emirates.

Region:

It is in the northeastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula, where most of the settlements are along the Persian Gulf, while some settlements are found on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. The northern tip of the peninsula belongs to Oman, and there is even an Omani enclave inside UAE and it is one of the GCC (Gulf Co-operation Council) States.

It consists of seven emirates, which include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.

Location:

It between 22 and 26 latitude and between 51 and 56 longitude. It is located at 23° 49 North, 54° 20 East.

Area:

It is covers an area of 83,600 square kilometers.

Borders:

It is having borders with Saudi Arabia and Oman. It 867 km (Saudi Arabia 457 km, Oman 410 km).

Landscape:

The landscape of the Emirates is very dry, with little rain, vegetation and animal life. Mountains only take up some few percent of the total territory. Connected to the federation are several islands outside the coast along the Persian Gulf. Also, it contains 200 islands.

Conclusion:

Finally, these are a little information about the UAE. Although UAE is a small country it is has seen rapid growth during the last 30 years after oil was discovered in the 1950s and now it keep going for a lot of development in many fields of the life.
