Passage.1 Read the following passage and answer the questions:
Lemonade is a kind of cold drink. It is made of the juice of lemons, with sugar and water. The name comes from the Arabic laimoon. Lemon trees grew first in south East Asia .From there; they spread to China in the north and Persia in the west. In the 10th century, Arabs knew about lemons. In the 12th century Arabs brought lemons to Spain and North Africa.
The juices of the fruit become popular for cooking and for drinking with sugar and water. The drink spread to Europe and then to North America. There are now over 250 commercial brands of lemonade in the world. Lemons now grow in the United States, south Europe, North Africa and South America.

Nasreddin once had old boat, which he used to ferry people across the river. One day, he was taking a university professor to the other side.
"What is the square root of 9?" asked the professor.
"I don’t know "answered Nasreddin.
"How do you spell elephant?" asked the professor.
"I have no idea" replied Nasreddin.
"Didn’t you study anything at school?" asked the professor, surprised.
"No," said Nasreddin
"Then you wasted half your life doing nothing" said the professor.
Nasreddin was silent for a little while, then ha said:
"Can you swim?"
"No," said the professor.
"Then you wasted ALL of your life doing nothing," said Nasreddin." We are sinking."
